In the event of heavy rain or stormy conditions, special procedures for rainy day dismissal will be implemented. Teachers will walk all students into the cafeteria and/or the hallways and specific instructions will be given over the PA system as follows:
- Students who walk home will be dismissed once the weather permits
- Students who are picked up by parents will be dismissed from the cafeteria or hallway once the weather permits
- Students who ride the bus will be dismissed from the cafeteria once the weather permits and their bus arrives
